GoPro just announced their new HERO3 action cameras– Black, Silver, White Editions. They also announced several accessories including the LCD Touch BacPac, the HERO3 Frame Mount and a Wi-Fi Remote with an optional Attachment Keys + Rings set for connecting the Wi-Fi Remote to your car keys or zipper. Also announced is a 3.5mm Mic adapter and various other cables.
The new GoPro HERO3 camera is available in three models - the HERO3: Black Edition, the HERO3: Silver Edition, and the HERO3: White Edition.
GoPro adds a more budget-friend camera to the line up. The HERO3: White Edition is a Wi-Fi enabled action camera with an 5-megapixel image sensor and a wide angle aspherical lens. Like its predecessor, the HD HERO2, it also comes with a waterproof housing that can protect the camera to a depth rating of 197’ (60 m). It also captures up to Full HD 1920 x 1080p video at 30 fps, and supports several other recording resolutions and frame rates. This is a great camera if you are on a budget and looking to break into the point-of-view filming world. The HERO3: White Edition is compatible with the LCD Touch BacPac and the Wi-Fi Remote. It has a micro HDMI output, a microphone/composite video port, and a microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB cards. The camera also features photo bursts ever 3 seconds. The built-in Wi-Fi enables remote control via the Wi-Fi Remote (sold separately). It also supports live video preview and remote control from your smartphone or tablet with the free GoPro app. Besides the waterproof housing, the HERO3: White Edition ships with two adhesive mounts, two buckles, assorted mounting hardware and a USB charging cable.

The built-in Wi-Fi enables remote control via the Wi-Fi Remote (sold separately). It also supports live video preview and remote control from your smartphone or tablet with the free GoPro app. The HERO3: Silver Edition is compatible with the LCD Touch BacPac and the Wi-Fi Remote. Besides the Wi-Fi Remote, the HERO3: Black Edition includes the same accessories as the HERO3: Silver Edition. Both models are compatible with all current GoPro mounts and accessories.
